”THUD THUD THUD!” went the rain as the lightning cracked through the grey and the thunderous ”BOOM” echoed in my ear, but then all the sudden the thudding from the rain came down too hard and fast for it to be rain. I looked out the window te see that hail was shooting down from the black sky. There was so much of it that it covered the ground like snow. Even though it was quite frightening to watch, it was somehow quite beautiful.
It was a dark, stormy, depressing Saturday night as the lightning zigzagged through the frightening night. The thunder roared in my ear as if I was standing next to a roaring lion. ‘BOOM’, it rumbled over and over again. I was so frightened that I clutched my old blanket that I took everywhere with me when I was little. It suddenly reminded me of the time I went to San Diego to go to Disney Land with my aunt and cousin . . .” Are we there yet!” I complained. ”Yes! Now will you stop bugging me?”, my aunt said in an irritated voice. ”Yes.” I said curtly. ”Thank you,” my aunt sighed with relief. I looked out the window and there it was. . .”Disney Land!”, I shouted. ”diney wand ” my baby cousin, Ethan repeated. I was so excited that I was shaking. When we finally found a parking space, I jumped out of the car and ran toward the entrance until. . .”Where in the heavans do you think you’re going!” my grandma said as she grasped my arm. ”To Disney Land!”, I said trying to make her let go of me.”Well youl just have to wait for us” ”hmmp” I pouted.”Awy got in twuble” Ethan mocked until I gave him a dirty look, then he stopped. When my aunt got out of the car, she put something that went around my chest and waist. ”What’s this!”, I shouted. ”It’s to keep you from getting lost or wandering off” she said, ”Fine” I mumbled. ”Why is Awy wearing a weash?’ ‘Ethan asked. ”ITS NOT A LEASH!!!!!!!!!”I shouted at him, but he ignored me. When we got inside we went on alot of rides, but since I was only six and Ethan was only three, we could not get on alot of big rides, but I still had lots of fun. When it was time to go I became very melancholy, but my aunt said it was time to go. When we finally found our car in the huge parking lot, we drove to a motel and slowly drifted asleep.
