“Look what I made!”Matthew (my friend)shouted like he had just made the greatest invention in the world. “I call it the Spankantor he explained. “This is how I made it.It’s quite simple actually all you need is a yard stick.” then he stuck in the back of his shoe. every time you walk it hits you. Isn’t it awesome?!” he shouted.”I made it for all those moms and dads who are tired of their kids misbehaving.” he explained. “It’s my greatest invention.”

Mrs.Wormwood thinks she is the most beautiful person on earth with her plain and plump body, her suet-pudding face and her stomach hanging over her belt. She thinks she’s so pretty that she told Miss Honey “I choose looks and you choose books.”
Mrs. Wormwood likes to sit a lot. Her hobby is watching the telly and even gets mad at Miss Honey for interrupting her favorite t.v. show so that she can tell her how smart Matilda is.”I don’t care if Matilda can read or if sh
e’s smart! I think Matilda is a snotty little brat!”
When Mrs. Wormwood left Matilda alone at home, Matilda borrows a talking parrot so she could get revenge and scare Mrs.Wormwood.

“NO!” I shouted, “Belle! Come back!” My mom and dad whispered panicking. “NO, NO, N-O-O-O-O-O!!”
We were at church on Easter Sunday and I was still a little baby who was maybe about one and had just learned my first and favorite word “No.” I started crawling under all the pews .My mom and dad looked hilarious trying to get me to come back and before everyone thought it couldn’t get any funnier, my dad got on the floor crawling under all the pews also. The audience (who’s eyes were bigger than full moons) had their eyes glued on the twenty-nine year old man crawling under the pews, chasing after a one year old baby. Before my mom (who was part of the audience) knew it, everyone including herself, had tears in their eyes from laughter.

My grandma’s crescent smile is as white as the moon.
Her skin is as soft as a seal as it’s jumping out of the ocean.
Her voice is the most beautiful song coming from the rarest bird.
She smells like the sweetest apple ever picked from a tree.
Every time I walk outside, my grandma is in every part of nature that God has created.
My grandma is unforgettable.

I’ve really enjoyed 4th grade especially the field trips that Mrs. Hulburt has taken us on. I really liked going to Carlsbad caverns I liked all the formations (see Carlsbad caverns (continued) for the formations). And for the missions I enjoyed everything. I think the most surprising thing that has happened this year is my TAKS scores. I did awesome on the writing. I’ve been wishing that Mrs. Hulburt move up to 5th grade with me but she can’t. Next year I hope I have another super teacher like Mrs. Hulburt.

Another person who interests me is Amelia Earhart. She was the first women pilot. She went on many long trips and one day wanted to fly around the world. At first, everything was alright then she stopped calling on the radio. They then realized she was missing. They checked the ocean but they couldn’t find her. Amelia Earhart was an important person and still is and one day I wish I can be the one to find her plane.

Have you ever looked for a book about history or people from the past? I have. And if you are like me… and you like reading good books…and if you like reading books that actually have the words that this person actually said and wrote down…You should read The Diary of Anne Frank. This book was actually her diary. When her father (who was the only one who survived in Anne’s family ) came back from the concentration camp, he found her diary at the place where they were hiding from Adolf Hitler and decided to make it a published book.
I recommend this story, or diary, because you can learn a lot about what Jewish people went through when Adolf Hitler was ruling Germany.

I can’t wait for summer because my uncles got us awesome Christmas presents. They got us…A week at one of the hotels in California Adventures! It is called the California Grand. And the cool thing about is that we’re right next to it so we’ll have a great view.
I CAN’T WAIT!!!
