   I’m glad you love to write. I hope that you really begin to value the connection between writing and reading. Every writer needs an audience. Something to think about the next time you don’t “feel like reading” As a writer, how would that make you feel if no body read your work because they didn’t “feel like it?”

   I’m glad you enjoy school and I hope 4th grade holds a lot of great memories!

   I always liked school. We didn’t do much writing though, I wish we had. I think though that you are such a well rounded student…are you truly saying writing is your “best” subject or your “favorite”? Either way…I’m glad you like to write as you have truly wonderful ideas to share! You always put your heart into your words and it makes your writing very meaningful!

   Mrs.Hulburt writing has actually always come easy for me, therefor my best subject.

   Well, I have to say writing has never been one of my most favorite subjects. Maybe that it is because I am a more “get to the point type of person”. I have a hard time using a lot of descriptions in my writing and have no patience to take the time and sit down in write. Math is definately the subject for me .

   I like that word ‘therefore’!

   I understand what you are saying. Reading always came easier to me than any other subject. I always thought that meant I wasn’t as good at the others, but now I can see that just because I have to work harder at something doesn’t mean I’m not good at it! In fact, sometimes the successes that I experience in the areas where I have to work harder mean more to me than any others!

    Hi belle,

    I am glad to hear that you like school. Writing was not my favorite subject back when I was your age, but now I realize that it is such an important part of what I do and the skills you learn at a young age will carry over later in life. Writing and reading are great ways to stimulate the mind and will your brain with other tasks that you really enjoy, like playing the piano and guitar. Nice first blog belle, I am looking forward to more!

    Wow, Belle! Look at you..writing blogs! I remember that day because your Mom told me all about it. You are so lucky to have such a loving family. Appreciate them alway! I’d like to mention one more thing…stop growing up so fast!
