Writing TAKS

Guess what? The writing TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) is coming up! I know some kids wish there was not one, but I love to write. Do you like to write or can’t wait for the writing TAKS?

    Okay, I got that you love to write – which I think is great – but does this also mean you’re actually looking forward to the writing TAKS? Because I’ve known several students who liked to write but weren’t crazy about taking the writing test. In fact, I didn’t think there were people that looked forward to it, but maybe that’s a bad assumption on my part.

    That’s great! You should do really well then. Are you unique in looking forward to the writing test or do other classmates feel the same way?
