For my sister’s birthday, she got a gift card for a store. From that store, she bought two sets of nail polish. There are different colors like purple, green, orange, pink, and more. We use them a lot. Of course, what is hers is mine and the other way around. I am sure that they will be enough for a very long time.

By the looks of my tittle, you would think that this would be about me getting new shoes, but it’s actually about my sister getting new shoes. They are knee high convers. They look very good, even if they have enough material to be made into three pairs of shoes. She is very happy with them, and never wants to take them off. She couldn’t believe our mom said yes to them. I hope I can use them, because we are about the same size. I wish I had her shoes.

As the whole sixth grade knows, the teachers pulled a great prank that should be put in the worlds best prank records. They actually got all of us out to sit in the hall – which is usually done when something serious is up – and told us that the new superintendent made big changes and was moving the sixth grade teachers to the middle school that most of us are going to. We were all in shock. Some of us, including me, cried for them. I was so upset. At the end of the day, they told us to get our agendas out to write a note to our parents, and got out a piece of paper that said it was all a joke and that the teachers outsmarted us. It was the best trick that has ever happened to me in my life.

I have a cat named Gordo. During spring break, it was a hot day and so we opened the window, but the screen with little holes was closed. My mom and I were watching T.V. when, “thump!” Gordo had jumped and I guess he expected to go through the window, but instead his nails were stuck in the screen and Gordo looked like a flat cat in the air. He took his claws out and then, he fell down, though unharmed. I don’t know why he did that, but I do know that I will love him no matter what he does.

Today the 6th grade went to Eastwood Middle School. We went to register there and pick our schedule for next year. We got a tour and got to get out of class for half the day. I liked the part when we got to go outside and see the big spongy track and run on it. I think that next year will be fun and I can’t wait for it.

My spring break has been a very good one. I was happy to go see my cousins again and play with them. One bad thing that happened was that my cousin Maythe got hit really hard with a soccer ball. My 27 year old uncle is a kid at heart, and so he was playing with us and he was the one who kicked it, not meaning to hit her, but it did. Other than that, that day was pretty good. I also went to the zoo, went bowling, and went to Deming for a day. It was a pretty good spring break.

This Friday will be Friday the 13th again. There was already one a coupleof weeks ago. I don’t believe in the bad luck that is supposed to come with this date. I will only believe in it if something terrible happens. Nothing bad has ever happened to me before on these days, and I really think that nothing ever will. Some people might say that I jinxed myself, but I do not think that I did. I am sure that nothing will go wrong on that day.

On the news, President Barrack Obama shared his thoughts and said that kids should have less vacation, and more school. He said this because he thinks teachers get too much vacation, so the kids that attend school have to suffer. My opinion is that the teachers get a pretty fair amount of school days, and they do not need any more work. I hope that this is only an idea and doesn’t really happen. What do you think about this idea of President Barrack Obama?

This upcoming week will be a week of relaxation for most of the students of Edgemere Elementry. Mostly everyone is waiting for this week to be over and for next week to begin. If you were waiting all year to get out of town, stay at home and relax, or going to try to see every movie you can during that next week, wait no longer. Well, actually, you will have to go through two more days of school, but after that, you can do all you want to do for that week. I am going to go to Deming for one day. Comment and tell me what you are going to do for spring break.

I love soccer. On Sunday, three cousins,(Abraham, Issac, and Michael), my sister,(Mariely), and I played a game of soccer. It was the three boys versus us two girls. Some might say that that wasn’t fair, but one of my cousins on the boys’ team was only 6, and couldn’t run very well. We didn’t really keep score, but it was pretty even to me. Then my sister went to do homework and there was only four of us left. Abraham and I teamed up against Michael and Issac and had a lot of fun. I wish that we do it again soon.
