Christopher Columbus was the first one to find new land of South America and North America. At a young age he studied astronomy and sailed ships just like his father did. He was hired by the king and queen Elizabeth to find the land. They said he would get ten percent of the treasure  he found, he would also get the land he discovered and claim it for his country while on his trip. When he landed on North and South America, he thought he landed in Asia where Queen Elizabeth said he would go. He thought he landed in the west Indies also  because he saw that the Indians where already there before him. Then he claimed the land for Spain. Later they named the land after another explorer that was there. There for they named the land America. The real explorers name was Amerigo who thought he landed in the west Indies also. Then Christopher Columbus died of a sickness. In his memory, there is now a Columbus Day every year for what he discovered  which is now what we call North America.

Please, please tell me your secret I begged my brother Joseph. We were going to Marshalls but first we had to pass the highway to get to it. Since my brother wouldn’t tell me his secret, I just stayed silent. As we passed a yellowish bright hotel, we approached a semi truck, we also saw a green grassy type of car. It was swerving right in front of us. We were waiting for the car to hit us, then when my dad knew it he just made a sharp quick turn. Luckily there weren’t any other cars on the other side of the road. After that my mom just said to stop the car. She was tearing and whimpering at the same time because of fear. I just looked back. The other driver weren’t hurt either. As we moved on it was silence as my dad drove the van. I was thinking to myself, what would of happend if it hit us. I hoped it wouldn’t happen again. I tried to forget the whole accident, but I couldn’t. I will never forget that day from now on. It has gotten safer from now on. Every day I it is a special and safer day. Ive seen more bad crashes, but I cant believe we went through that one. Thank God we didn’t hit that car, or the other cars on the other side of the lane. Now I’m afraid but I shouldn’t be. It was the most scariest thing that happend to my family, and we wont let it happen again. So far so good nothing has happened to us. My hoping was strong enough. My family is safe thanks to God.Now I don’t have to worry about a single thing thanks to God.He takes care of us.

It was cloudy, and snow was falling heavily as war began. The Muffin man was the king of the ginger bread men, and captain Claus was the king of the snow foxes. The ginger bread men and the snow foxes  were about to fight each other. Either the Muffin man was going to win or Claus was going to win. They were fighting to become President of Gob la  Land. Two ginger bread men were named Boo Boo and Gingy. They were going in for Claus. As milk splattered everywhere they were still going strong. When they were running, they were getting tired and tired and tired. But then they stopped and decided to surrender. Then they floated away in the milk. Captain Claus won the war and became president of Gob la land.

When we went to Mazatlan we had gotten in the swimming pool. I on the other hand had to stay in less than the three feet end so I wouldn’t  drown. I was also bored to death. Then I saw kids ready to jump on the same time. When they jumped I joined them. My mom had to rescue me from drowning. When she got me out I was so embarrassed  and not happy because I wanted to swim. Oh well I still have the ocean to swim in.

On that same day I went to Sea World I went to Corpus Christi. When we got to the beach I got out of the stroller and began running to the ocean, but they got me and carried me carried to it. I was splashing all over the place and wanted to get out of my grandma’s arms, but she didn’t let me. My grandma was laughing like crazy. Every time a wave hit me I would always make a smile. Everyone had fun at the beach but I had more fun than everyone else. I was very happy.

Matilda is a very smart girl. She is tiny also. She studies and is a hard worker. She is revengeful whenever Miss Trunchbull or her parents get her mad. Matilda reads very much. She is good at anything. She is wonderful and a magnificent little girl no matter what she does. She is awesome.She also has eye power to control stuff with her eyes

She plays with me great games, She loves to pretend. She plays basketball even when it rains.

She helps me with my homework, She dosen’t mind my questions, She even draws funny faces for my artwork.

Her food is delicious and great it is a masterpiece that you can never calculate.

But most of all I think my grandma is the best,

She gives me love and care. She is like a jewel so very special and rare.

Out of my whole years of fourth grade it has been boring but it has not been bad for my friends. Or for football. I still don’t like school ,but I had new friends. There names are Anthony, Alex,and Elijah.T hey are funny. I still have friends from  kindergarten, kike Matthew and Jesus. This has been my fourth grade life.

At Carlsbad Caverns, the most interesting thing for me was the Chinese Theater. It looked like a Chinese man sitting down. I have never seen that in my life. It was amazing how a cave can form like that after so many years. That is so cool. It looked like it was meditating. My second was the Bottomless pit. It is not really bottom less. It is 140 feet. That’s deep. My third is Whales Mouth. It had the shape of a whales head. The mouth was cool. They were little baby Soda Straws. It takes a lot of years to form a Soda Straw. Imagine forming a stalactite. Last but not least the bat flight. The bats looked like birds. They were tiny. I wish to come back soon to look at my top 3 plus the bat flight. Carlsbad Caverns rocks!!!

It was the end of winter,and usally turtles don’t come out till May.But It was April,right at the begining of it.It was a perfect day,ot to hot,not to cold.As I was watching T.V my mom rushed me to go out side.I couldn’t belive my eyes.It was my turtle.I thought he was dead somehow he dug four holes.Today was my day and his day.
