My 4th Grade Year

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 12:14 pm and

Fourth grade was awesome, I learned things that I had no idea what they were and became more mature. I had the same teacher because the principal wanted her to become a 4th grade teacher but she said no because she had her daughter in her class and she thought that she shouldn’t because Carrie all ready sees her 24/7. Ms. Hulburt is a great teacher and is not one of those teachers who are not fun and is really really strict, Ms. Hulburt is a funny teacher and doesn’t mind a little laughter. Well she taught us well in writing and math, writing was a hardy for me but I got a 100 and a 3, math was a easy one for me, so my score was 98. Through 4th grade I have improved in reading and my score was a 95. I have also pushed myself like when I read White Fang. Well I have enjoyed 4th grade and cant wait till 5th grade.

Washing Poupychulo

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 11:08 am and

After school in the afternoon Poupychulo (my chihuahua) jumped up on the bed and he smelled like a pile of dog logs (he rolls in sand all day anyway.)”You know what time it is!” Micheal (my brother) teased. What my brother meant by “what time it is” it means that he is going to bath Poupychulo. “Can I help?” I pleaded. “Ya, fine,”Micheal replied. He filled the tub, but not to much then helled Poupychulo in the water then bathed him in soap. I saw Poupychulo’s eyes that somehow said “Get me out of here, hes going to drown me!” We took him out of the tub and dried him. His stomach was actually white!  Now every time Isee him I take a quick sniff to see if he just may need another bath.

Bed Cliff

“Waw, Waw?” THUD! I fell off the bed like a dufus and landed on my hands and my stomach. I was laying on my bed with my cat on my legs which meant I kinda flung her across the room. Any way, I got up and walked around the house then checked all of the rooms to see if I had woken up anyone. After that I laid on my bed and scrunched up in a little ball and right then I started to tilt to the right so I grabbed the bed and said in a whisper, ” I have got to start sleeping on the other side.”

A Child Called ” It”

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 3:34 pm and

In my opinion, the book A Child Called “It” sounds like a very very good book to read.  I have read the summary but I can’t read it yet because of school work.  It is about a boy who’s mother beats him and the only thing that kept him alive was that he would have a caring family. The reason why the mother beats him is probably because she is an alcoholic (says is alcoholic in summary). But I really want to read that book.

Kickball

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 3:23 pm and

At P.E at school there were no footballs, no more basketballs, and I didn’t want to play jump rope. So I wondered around in search of something to do. Then I saw my friends Abel, Frankie, Sarah, Naomi, Josh, Austin, and Belle playing kickball. Now, I’m mostly into football and basketball but I decided to play anyway.

“Can I play?” I asked Frankie.

“Sure, come on!” he replied.

So I got in the back of the line and waited my turn. When it came to my turn, I stepped two steps back and put my right leg in position. When Abel rolled the ball I swung my leg and… BOOM! the ball went flying like a bomb.

I ran in the base order then when Austin threw the ball at me I jumped forward and the ball went behind me and I made a home run. The next time I did the same thing and when it was time .to line up I said to myself, “I rock!” That day changed my opinion about kickball. Now I actually wanna play it more often.

Movie Mountain

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 11:37 am and

Over the summer I went with my mom to buy movies. It started off just Disney movies. But then it started getting into old movies like CAT ON A HOT TINN ROOF. Then it started into action movies like PUNISHER. Then scary movies, for instance AVP. (AVP stands for ALIENS VERSUS PREDITOR.) Then we started piling up with movies. I’m just worrid that one day you might be getting a movie and all of a sudden the whole thing comes tumbling down and squashes you like a bug!

5:OO a.m to 6:00 a.m

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 1:14 pm and

“Meow meow,” my cat repeatedly said on top of my chest and it bothered the heck out of me. I woke up and stared at her and said, “Leave me alone,” “I like you when I’m awake but I think you’re a little devil when you wake me up early like this!” I tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t. So I got up and looked at the clock and it was five o’ clock. I walked around, sat down on the couch, looked in the refrigerator, played games, and read. I looked at the clock again and it was barely 5:20. I played games when I heard thumping through the hallway, it was my mom. I paused the game and sat up, then she asked, “What are doing up so early?” I stood up and looked at the clock and it was 6:00. Then I said “Ask the cat.”

Jubal’s Wish

Filed under: books — stepheni @ 12:42 pm and

Jubal’s Wish Jubal packs a picnic and is so happy that he wants to share with somebody. He goes around asking if they would have a picnic with him. He asked Gerdy and Captain Dalbert but they both said no. So he wonders if he should be unhappy too. Then a Wizard picks him up and says he can make a wish. Does his wish come true?

This book shows that you can wish and dream you will never know if they will come true like Jubal did.

This book reminds me of the day I wanted to play basketball with my brothers but no one wanted to play with me.
I recommend this book because I think it tells the reader to be happy no matter how many people around you are in a bad mood.

The Shadow

Filed under: Uncategorized — stepheni @ 12:34 pm and

At night in my front yard my brother Matthew, my dad, and I were just leaning against the Saturn (our car) talking. Matthew stepped forward and out of nowhere a shadow slithered behind the bush. Matthew spied it first and signaled for me to come by waving his hands towards himself.

I walked towards him and whispered “What?”

“Look!” Matthew replied.

And right there I saw the slithering shadow. It wasn’t a snake slither but a lizard’s slither. I stepped forward and, when I did, the shadow stopped and cocked it’s head toward me. Then it cocked it back and slithered under the garage door.

I ran into the house, through the kitchen, and into the garage. I looked near the door where it had disappeared but it wasn’t there. I walked back outside and leaned on the car looking at the door. Watching for a movement.
