In reading we were reading this book called The Cay. I think it was a good book because a boy named Phillip  and his mother are on a boat that gets bombed by a German submarine. Then Phillip  gets  hit on the head with driftwood and falls unconsciously after that he gets rescued by a tall old guy named Timothy.Timothy  had taken him and Phillip to an island called the Devil’s Mouth, While  Phillip got blind (lost his eye sight). When they arrive to a deserted island, they have to be able to catch food and water so they can survive. Timothy teaches Phillip to do a lot of things like fishing, making a hut, getting water. Then after a few months of being stranded on the island they go through a hurricane and just when the hurricane ends timothy dies and leaves Phillip all by himself. At the end Phillip gets rescued  and decides to go bake to the island in the future. I think everyone should read this book because its a good book.

The weather has been changing fast like first its all getting hot and next thing you know its cold and icy. It’s funny how the weather changes so fast but the thing is that I wanted it to snow….A lot, but it didn’t. It was snowy then the next day its like kinda hot. My sister said she didn’t like when it rained or when it started to snow because they wouldn’t let her go outside and play around with the snow. When it snowed my sister told me she was excited at first but then she was mad because she couldn’t go outside. So I started laughing because its like she wants to play all day long.

Last week i went to honor band and made alot of friends like Allanah, Amber,Matthew,Cynthia,Jorge,David,,Nolan,and a lot more.Honor band was really fun, we would practice and we would have time to talk and make new friends.

Allanah : tall ,really funny  makes me laugh alot ,really nice ,you can talk to her for anything and she can keep secrets oh ya and she plays the clarinet.and..she is an awesome  friend

Amber: is kinda short funny crazy makes you laugh and is very loud and plays clarinet.she would do anything for her friends and keeps secrets

Matthew : is kinda tall ,funny  makes everyone laugh,and hes a really good friend.

Cinthia: is short but really funny like one time we were talking and i stared a her and we burst out laughing i dont why but it was really funny.

Jorge: is tall funny nice  um…o ya hes loud hes kinda weird but still hes my friend.

Nolan: can sometimes get you really mad and the next minute you would be laughing…hes really loud and funny.

These are some of my friends from honor band and they are really cool….you just have to meet them.When you barely meet them you would probably think theywould be all shy but they wouldnt they would be talking t you making you laugh and it would feel like you have known them for a long time

Our schedule is ok i kinda like it.At first i wasnt used to it  and i thought it as confusing , but its not. You just have to get used to it.Its also kinda good that we have reading and writing in one class for two hours because we get to see ms ward .Like beforwe had this schedule we only saw ms ward for an hour , and now we see her for about 2 hours. Having both classes is ok because we dont have to switch from reading to writing.In reading we read a book called the cay and write main ideas  everyday. Then after that we have writing we do alot of different things in writting, it all depends what day it is for example if its wednesday we got to computer lab.In writing We also talk about good questions and good detailed answers.and we do alot more things that i cant remember right now.

I remember when i lived in L.A and i used to go to Universal studios all the times with my cousins.One time my cousin jasmine and Karolina were in the car  waiting  to get to universal studios and we made a deal that we would a ride the ride called revenge of the mummy like 5 times.Like fifteen minutes later we were there my cousins and me ran to the rides we rode on all of them and then finally we were gonna ride the revenge of the mummy.We were in line  for a long time then finally we got on the cars next thing you the ride started the cars were going really fast and i couldnt  stop laughing then the ride was over when it ended  we got in the line again when that time ended we got back on the line and we did that for like 5 times then my cousin told us to stop riding it because she felt like throwing up, but we still rode it and after the ride ended my cousin threw up on karolina i was laughing alot, then i relized karolina thew up to because she got really groosed out.I was still laughing alot!!!

On Tuesday we were all told we were gonna have a different schedule for the rest of the year. I think the schedule is okay, but we wont see some of our teachers like Ms wards class wont have Mrs. Baker for reading. I also think it will be good having two classes in one because it will be easier for teachers.I’m not used to having science then math in the morning because im used to  having ms baker then ms Martinez.Having a new schedule isn’t that bad im okay with it.

Over this weekend, my dad bought a baby chihuahua. It’s brown and really small. On Sunday, I walked outside with it, and I found out it had green eyes.My dad talked to me and my sister and told us that he was giving the baby chihuahua to my  grandma so we did and it looks like she is going to take good care pf it. I could tell she really liked it because she hugged it and then she told us she started thinking of what to name her (the baby chihuahua) while that was going on my cousin ran up to my grandma and told her to name her Hannah. So my grandma named her Hannah. On Monday, my mom, grandma, sister, cousin, and me went to the vet, to get my baby chihuahua her shots. She was crying and the lady who was giving her the shots got to nervous and accidentally poked her three times. Now my grandma has her and I won’t see Hannah until the weekend:)

Good friends are there for you when you need and they should never talk bad things about you.Everyone ha friends that you are really close to, and sometimes their are friends that say they are your best friends and talk bad things about you. I think people should pick there friends and not be friends with people just because of their stuff.

Our first school concert was really fun. It was funny because everyone thought i would be shy but i wasn’t i was actually excited, and couldn’t wait for the concert to begin.On the first school concert we did was for the lower grades and they looked happy and were singing along to all the songs it was fun.The song i thought was fun to play was America because me, Brionna and Giselle and it was fun because we would always come in the morning to practice the song and we did pretty good in the concert

In science we have been learning about natural resources. A renewable resources is a source that can be used  over and over again.A nonrenewable resource is a source that cant be used over and over again. We also learned that if there was no sun it would affect resources like plants and trees, because plants and trees need the sun to be able to go through photosynthesis,so they can give us oxygen. If there was no sun plants would not be able to give us oxygen.The sun is very important, the sun is the most important part of each cycle. For example in the water cycle the sun evaporates water and turns it into precipitation. So with out the sun ther would be no oxygen for us so the sun is really important.
