I want to lose weight. I will go to Curves. I will exercise five days a week and leave the weekends for when I don’t go. I will eat as healthy as possible. I wil,l run and think “If I push a little harder I will be that much closer to finishing.”
I want to go to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. I will work on my spelling every day. I will learn not to say um. I will get my parents involved. Any misspelled words from when my parents quiz me will be written once. I will never give up.

My dad, mom, a few friends, and I went to San Antonio during summer. We went to Ripley’s Believe It or Not. It had stuff like a tornado room. It was cool. We also went to a wax museum. It had coffins with vampires, ghouls, mummies, and monsters in them. Then we went to the Alamo. All of the walls have holes in them where bullet had gone through. Inside there were historical facts and weapons people used during the fight for the Alamo. It was very interesting. The best thing though, was going to Sea World. There are a lot of exhibits and rides. My favorite ride was the Steel Eel. It was SO cool! It had hills throughout the ride. One hill was higher than the rest. My mom had her eyes closed the whole ride. Finally, when all the rides were closed, we went to see Shamu the killer whale. My friend’s dad was a chicken because when we took our places at the Splash Zone, he went as far away from the area. The show was awesome. Shamu did cool tricks in the water like flipping in he water with his trainer on him. One time he flipped so close to us the salt water splashed us. No wonder they call it the splash zone. I tried to wipe my eyes with my shirt and I realized that my shirt was covered in sea salt so it was no help.

I was in a scary car crash. My mom, dad, and I were coming from Childress, TX. because we were visiting my nana and paw-paw. I was in the backseat when it happened. It was a hot summer day. We were in the Neon. My mom was taking a nap while my dad was driving. I was reading and was about to take a nap. I reached for my pillow on the other side of the car. When I leaned over for my pillow, I felt a jolt. I quickly leaned up and saw grass flying everywhere through the windows. I just froze and watched the grass fly by. All the sudden I stopped as quickly as it came. Everything was still. I sat frozen for nearly a minute trying to process everything that had happened. I’m not even sure I was even breathing. Finally, I moved. My dad was outside trying to push the car out of the middle of the road. My mom was frantically trying to find her glasses. I realized that my glasses weren’t on me either. Soon we were both trying to find our glasses. I was nearly sitting on mine and somehow my mom’s glasses were next to me. People in a car saw what happened and called an ambulance. What happened was that a car was going down a hill and we were going across the hill. We collided. When we collided my mom’s side of the car was hit, my door was hit by a pole when my dad was trying to keep us from flipping over, and my dad’s door was perfectly fine. Once the ambulance came and made sure we were fine, we went home in a rental car because our car was totaled.

Miss Trunchbull wears a long gray coat and brown boots. She is gigantic. She is tall and muscular. She has white, short, curly hair. She is old. She is very mean and violent. She pulls people’s hair and ears to lift them in the air when they get an answer wrong. Everyone is scared of her. They try to avoid her.
