The Kid Who Never Cared

January 9, 2009 · No Comments

In a mansion there lived Michael Bishop who was only 10. His parents had died many years ago, and the only one who took care of him was his butler Nick. The only way Michael could get his parent’s money was by helping homeless people at the Community Service Center. Today he had to give them presents for Christmas. “Mr.Bishop, are you almost ready?” said Nick. “Almost Nick!” Michael shouted from upstairs. It took about 15 minutes more for Michael to get ready. Then he was of in his limousine to the Community Service Center. While he was being driven to the Community Service Center he thought to himself I only want to get the money from helping the homeless people do not actually care for them.  When he got there he went inside, sat behind the table and started to give out presents. After one hour of giving out presents one kid named Stephen Nickleberry came along and asked for a present. Michael didn’t give him one and acted like nothing was wrong. “Hey why didn’t I get one!?” Stephen shouted. Michael glared at him and through clenched teeth said “Next!” Michael had not given Stephen a present because of his horrible, nasty, horrid, looks. After one more hour of giving out presents Michael could get his money. He got $500,000 cash, went to his house, and knocked out immediately. Michael had three very eccentric dreams. One was Christmas Past and in that dream it showed him and his parents on Christmas. He was hugging them because they had gotten him a new bike. His second dream was Christmas Present, in that dream he saw himself not giving a present to Stephen. Then Christmas future came along, in that dream it showed Stephen as the richest man in the world, and Michael as a homeless person with a sign saying Help The Poor. He woke up after those dreams in the middle of the night and decided that he would go visit Stephen at the Community Service Center in the morning. The next morning he woke up, got ready and was off to the Community Service Center. When he got there he asked for Stephen Nickleberry at the reception desk because homeless people got to stay there for Christmas. They took Michael to Stephen’s room and left him alone with Stephen. He woke up Stephen and asked him “Do you want to live with me?” Stephen was a little flabbergasted at first but then replied “Yes.” From then on Michael was the kid who cared and Stephen and him were the best of friends for life.
