Barack Obama’s Inaguration

February 8, 2009 · No Comments

On January 20th Barack Obama became the first African American president. First, he laid his hand on a Bible then was sworn in to do the best job as president. The he gave a speech letting the Americans know what he would do to improve are nation. Here are a few things he said, “America is a friend to each nation.” “We are the keepers of this legacy.” He also stated, “We will not apologize for the way we live.” Also “The world will change and we must change with it” “This is the price of citizenship.” One thing that impacted me the most was that “People have fought and died so we would have a better life in America.” I hope that he continues to make our nation strong.
