SPORTS

I would like to have sports in school so the school could be more active,well I mean the school should have more sports because it already has one sport but not every body likes basket ball. Sports also helps some kids get concentrate in school, sometimes if they like what there in.Sports also helps us maintain health and active lifestyle.Even thou you are not good at sports it is all  right  because you can keep practicing and get better.That is also why I want more sports in school so if you are bad at one you can choose another sport.

CITY OF THE ROCKS

Last weekend on Friday I went to the City Of The Rocks, New Mexico.  We met at our scout hutt which is located at St.Rafael Church.  We all needed to meet at 5:30p.m so that we could hit the rode about 6:00p.m; it was a two and a half hour drive up there.  When we finally got there before anything else was done we first set up our camp sight which is to set up the tents and get ready for the night.  I had a good night sleep because my sleeping bag was three sleeping bags in one, (my uncle Danny let me borrow it which he got when he was in the Navy).  At night it was about 34 degrees and we were ffffffrrrreeezzzziiinnnngggg out there.  When I woke up on Saturday morning I had breakfast which was chocolate chip pancakes with bacon.  We all need to take turns with the chorse so I cooked for my troop that morning.  After we cleaned up breakfast we went to the actual City Of The Rocks.  That place is huge! We were there for two hours and we played hide n go seek we had a good time.  We had to go back to the camp sight because we were going to study and build a camp gadget.  My patrol build a flag pole as one of our camp gadgets.  That project took us about one hour and we all worked as a team to get it done faster.  When we were done with our projects we had lunch which I didn’t have to cook for everyone because we all ended up having sandwhiches.  After lunch we headed back to the City of the Rock for another two hours.  One of the main reason why I wanted to go back so much was because I left my jacket there and would really need it at night since the temperature dropped a lot at night, pluse we had to go back and get it because if not my my mom would have gotten very mad.  Then we went back to the camp sight and had dinner.  On the last day we were there I woke up had oatmeal and double fudge chocolate chip muffins which were very good.  And of course what every body hates the most, but has to be done….. we had to take down our tent to go home back to El Paso.  Before leaving the sight my troop all lines up so that we can clean up any trash that might be left behind.  Scout motto leave it cleaner than how it was!

PHOENIX

 WOW!!!! This year I went to Phoenix for Halloween.  But it was to bad I could not go trick-or-treating but I had lots of fun over there and went to lots of cool places.  It was a very long ride it took us about six hours to get from El Paso to Phoenix but it was better when we got to the hotel.  We stayed at a hotel called The Hyatt Place we all unpacked our stuff then, my sister,my mom, my sister’s friend Kiara, and her mom Sulina, and me went to TGI FRIDAYS actually only me, my mom, my sister, and Kiara went to TGI FRIDAYS because her mom was sick.  It was a nice place but our server was very slow I even said “That guy is so slow a turtle might be faster than him” and they started laughing Ha,Ha,Ha.  Then we went back to the hotel to get a great nights sleep for the next long day.

 The second day wasn’t actually that long but I started off with a good morning.  I woke up about 8 o’clock while my room mates were still asleep:my mom,my sister,Kiara,and her mom Sulina.  I went down stares for some breakfast were there were a lot of people then I went back up to see if my room mates were awake and I was sure they were because it was 9 o’clock and….. they were so I got dressed they did also then we went down stares so they could have breakfast.  Then we were on the street to go to DODGE STADIUM which is why we came to PHEONIX in the first place for my sister.  My sister is in a cheer leading squad called the EAST SIDE RAMS CHEERLEADERS and they are the TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONS they won that in Albuquerque.  Of course like always they got FIRST PLACE so we went to celebrate but first the girls went to go change then we left to celebrate.  We went to a place called The Cheese Cake Factory and that place served quick and was very good.  Then we all went back to the hotel with a good appetite so my sister, Kiara, and me waited a little while so our food could go down so we could go swimming.  We swam for about two hours then went back up to shower and go to sleep again for the next day.  The next day was just six hours of driving agian to El Paso back home. I had lots of fun while I was in Phoenix and I would love to go back some day.

Step By Step

I was having a nice day at school and it got better because,we were going to do a research essay and we had to chose five topics and my were: Titanic, Teradactel, the Mona Lisa, the Statue of Liberty, and white tigers, then out of those five topics I had to chose one and, I chose The Titanic because I wanted to study some kind of a ship. After I did that I did a web map that shows you a little of what we already know about our subject. Then we had to come up with some questions to give us an idea of what we are going to research about. After that our teacher Mrs. Ward took us to the computer lab to google our topic and get information and answer are questions for abut three maybe four days. Then we started our drafts from beginning, end, and the draft.

Lock In

What is a lock in? Well I can tell you - just read along.

A lock in  is were they lock you in Peter Piper  the whole  night  from like 12:00 am to 6:00 am and that’s what I did Friday the 24. Thursday I went to get my ticket. It was just $15  for the ticket. The people that work there are going to give us free drinks and free pizza until 2:00am. I had lots of fun with my friends that were: Eric, Thomas, Freddy, and Eddy. We had lots of fun dancing because there was a really good DJ with good songs. I mostly spend my time at the games because I got a lot of tokens. I had a really good time and I was thinking of doing it again next year.

MONSTER TRUCKS

Last Saturday (9/27/08) my mom, my sister, and my self  went to the Kawasaki Monster truck show it was awesome but I have to tell you what happen first and that’s what I’m going to talk about.

To begin I didn’t even know I was going to be going to the show. My mom had told me we were going to go Mexico so that we could go skate.  When I walked into the garage my mom told me to turn around, and she placed a bandanna over my eyes and said, “Because you have been doing so good in school not getting into trouble and finishing your homework on time, I am going to reward you.”  

I was so surprised because she had never done anything like this before so she walked me to the truck; my sister helped me put on my seat belt because I couldn’t see anything anymore.  The trip seemed very long and when we got to the “place” my mom and sister helped guide me to the door.  They walked me right to the edge of the stands and took off my blindfold.  I was so surprised so happy so excited that tears ran down my face.  We sat up at the very top so that we could see everything and ate cotton candy, nachos, and drank some Coca Cola. 

My mom pretended to go the bathroom and when she came back she surprised me again with a shirt  that they where selling (It was bull - dogs he is a racer.) And during the show, they started to throw t-shirts at the people and I was one of the ones to catch one.  My sister cried because she didn’t get one so the second time that they started to throw t-shirts at us, I got up to get one for her, but she was able to catch one on her own.  It was the best surprised my mom could have had for me.  I thanked her very much for doing that for me I had the best time of my life that I could remember.

BAND

I chose to be in band because I wanted to play the trumpet. I also wanted to be in orchestra to play the violin, but I chose band because it has more instruments and it’s been cool. I am playing the trombone.  I have not played it yet but I have put it together at home, and it looks cool and sounds like a fart. Really I am not kidding. I ended up playing the trombone because the trumpet’s mouth piece was too small. I needed something bigger to be  in the brass section. So, it is good I am playing the trombone because it was my second choice.

BERRY

Bits has a friend called Berry. I named him Berry because he is blue and his name starts with a b like Bits. They are both in the same tank  but it is a special tank because two betas can’t be together they will fight. My mom took me to Wal-Mart to get me a tank but the tank had a divider so I also got another fish. They have all the stuff they need so they are both happy.

Bits

Bits is my fish. Bits is a beta fish he is red  he lives in my room. My grandma bought it for me at Pet’s Mart. She brought it to me when I was at home with my mom and sister. I was playing with my 27 collection of cars. I named him Bits because I saw it on T.V and I though it was a nice name for a fish.

Cattleman’s steakhouse

Friday the 9 I went to Cattleman’s it was fun because I’ve never gone there before.

1. The first thing we did was take a hay ride we went to a wooden house, then we went to a place where they made a movie (but I don’t remember what it was called).

2. Next we took a bath room break so we can all wash our hands and head back to the hut so we culd eat some ham burgers and fresh lemonade for lunch.

3. After we ate we had the choice to go look at animals or go to the fort. I went to the fort. We went there for a while then we had to go.

4. We went back to the hut so we could make a fire and roast some marshmallows.

5. My favorite part of Cattlemen’s was making marshmallows
