Last Saturday our basket ball team had a game to go to, so me and my family went to Ceaser Chavez (because that’s were our games are usually at). But when we got there they told us it was at Thomas Manor when it was like 5 till 1:00 so we all went rushing to Thomas Manor and were sitting there on the bleachers while the rest of the team got there, but what was just great was that we were told that we aren’t going to play there, that the boys were going to play there. So our team went outside while the parents called the head of basket ball to see what was going on and they said the game was at Marion Manor. Ugh, so we had to go driving to the other school as it grew later and later and we got there oh my gosh, there was no body there! We all were so mad, then again we called to see what happened and they said that they made another mistake (for the 4th time!) so they said it was at Indian Ridge. Then we went rushing all the way to Indian Ridge and as the line of like 10 cars went all the way to Indian Ridge when it was already 1:30 and still no one was there and right then we found out there was going to be no game and that they were going to reschedule. So we were going all around town trying to find a game and didn’t have one. But hopefully next time there won’t be so much running around looking for a game.

Oh, I just love Spring! It is a really awesome season because everything is green an alive. Spring I know comes in March, but it feels to long to wait for. I want the flowers back, and the squirrels, and the nice warm cozy weather. Spring is the season that you could be happy with because you could just be outside and be free to see green nature and animal life running around and the nice fresh air you can never forget the smell of the first day of Spring. The smell is all floral and really sweet, relaxing, so that you could just go out into the wide open space and pull up a chair and a glass of lemonade and just watch the day go by.

Ahh! I just love the band Paramore. One reason is that one of their songs (Decode) comes out in Twilight which is the all time best movie ever! This song is one of their best yet counting CrushCrushCrush, and yet it goes perfect with the movie with the beat and the wording. So when you listen to this song you’ll love it and see how it relates to Twilight and how it means or let me put it this way, how the song tells a story like meaning. So yeah all I’m trying to say is that Paramore rocks! So you got to hear this song and please agree with me as I say Paramore rocks!

Oh my gosh just now I finished Twilight and its the best book ever! When I would hear other people talk about it and I just couldn’t just wait to read it. And when my eyes first gazed upon this book and I read the first chapter of Twilight I just couldn’t stop reading it because of all the details and how Stephenie Meyer showed how Edward and Bella are through out the whole book. And now I am saying that Stephenie Meyer is the best author of all time and now I really want to read New Moon and find out if Edward really bites Bella. Oh I just really want to just read New Moon and see what happens!

Last Saturday our sixth grade girls basket ball team won against Dolphin Terrace, and it was an crazy game. Well for me it started off before the game even started, because well we were waiting for the other team to finish my lip started to itch and before I knew it my whole left side of my lower lip swelled like a balloon! And when it got that bad every one was just staring at my hideous lip. but then it was time for the game. As the first quarter people walked up to the court, and as the ball was thrown our team grabbed it and sprinted down the court and BAM! We made the shot! As the crowed jumped up and roared for your team. Then as the quarter went on we just kept on making the shots one right after the next quarter and I got to play. And when we went out I got the ball I raced down the court and took the shot and made it! Oh my gosh I was so happy because in 4th and 5th I had never made a shot at a game and now in 6th I made my first shot that took me three years to make. I felt so happy , but know as the first quarter we all made shots after shots and when we switched baskets it was so funny because when they got the ball they made it into the basket which was now yours then and oh, were they mad when we got the point and not them. then after that little scene they eventually made three baskets and still we kept on making more baskets and once it hit the fourth quarter and the last ten seconds past and then we officially won our first game! And the finished score was 26 to 6, wow I know we won by 20 points, we all cheered and celebrated our win with some snacks and Gatorade. But you should have seen the game it was so awsome and I think the winning of our first game will give us confidence to try and beat all the other teams. So wish us luck!

This Saturday is Valentine’s Day, and I’m so excited! I love Valentine’s Day because of the best thing the chocolate, mmthe chocolate I just love it when it’s in the little boxes in different varieties. And I just can’t get why people don’t like this holiday. It’s so much fun this holiday and I just love it, Valentine’s Day is so heart warming just spending time with your family and have a day just with laughter and friendship. Valentine’s Day is the day we are each person can spend a great day with everyone and just have a good time for example go out and eat with your family and friends and share the day with them. So I finish by saying why do some people don’t like this holiday and why do they despise this day?

OH my gosh today it snowed in February! You never see that here, and oh it was so awesome when the first person shouted out, “Look! It’s snowing!” As soon as everyone was in amazement we went running to the nearest window and, as we saw those flakes falling from the blackening sky, everyone was just at the window gazing at the open world. But it was amazing, I just still can’t get over that it snowed in February. I wanted so bad to go out and play in the snow but they didn’t let us. But with the sweet there is a sour; even though it was so cool, I didn’t like the sudden change in climate from summer temperature to winter. And all we can all say is IT SNOWED!

In the new block schedule has been pretty weird but even though it’s been pretty good with reading/ writing while we read the Cay and do DOL. The things I liked about this is that we get to learn more about reading and writings simalarities. The thing that I don’t like about the new schedule is that it drags on and on and sometimes gets kind of boring. But with all this I can see how reading and writing have a deeper connection by they both have to think the same way by using your common sense. The way I’ve been doing with the stratigies is pretty good because I’ve been able to see and understand it more. But over all I think it was a good idea to have these new block schedules because we are now able to see reading and writing better now.

YEAH! The Steelers won! Oh I’m so happy the Steelers won last night and boy, what a game. The game was so exciting I could barely stop myself from screaming at the sight of the winning touchdown, and oh by that time everyone knew that the Cardinals would lose. And what made that even better was the Super Bowl party me and my family had. We had shrimp cocktail, burritos, chips and dip (which I can’t imagine a Super Bowl party would never leave out), and a football cake made for who I wanted it for is the Steelers. So now back to the game, the last two minutes of the game were so heart stopping as we saw the Steelers go running across the field and made the touchdown. So at the end I congratulate the Steelers for their win and even though it was pretty rough out there, they still survived.
GO STEALERS!

“Cookies! Get your girl scout cookies here!” We would shout as our troop would scream out at the crowed of people that would pass by our booth. All of us would scream out to the world trying to persuade people to come and buy some cookies. We all went out to all we possible could do, we would come and put on skits and cheers trying to call all the people to come and but some cookies from us and also to donate to our troops (the army). So as we would scream out to all the people out there we turned out to end up selling hundreds of cookies and we all did pretty good out there in selling and will now wait till our next cookie booth and hope to do the same good job. So to all of troop 398 I wish you all luck in the next cookie booth.
