Korina’s Korner

In the new year I was very happy because finally it was going to be a new year to all of us.My family and I went to my grandma’s house.It was very fun because we were talking about all the things we did when we were little.A little bit before 12:00a.m. we stared making wishes with grapes.Every of us had 12 grapes in a cup.It was fun after that because we were just talking with our family of other parts.After that my dad told us to get ready because we were going home to get some sleep then we were going the next morning.That was my new year2009

Well in Christmas I was so happy because I got what I wanted.My parents give me a Nintendo DS with the game of Super Mario Bros.When I open my gift my face was very funny.I have played with the DS all day long.I had a Game Boy but I wanted a DS.My parents were saying to me that I was noy going to get a DS but they were kidding cause they give me the DS.I am very happy with my parents.Well that was my Christmas.BYE!!!!!!

Well I think you already know that some kids don’t eat at school because they do not like the food of the school. I am against the lunch menu because almost all the kids do not like the food of the school. I think that the ladies’ should give the students’ a paper and pencil to write what they want for lunch every day. I know that some parents’ are with the cafeteria ladies’ because they think they are giving us good food but if they were us they maybe think the same think about the lunch.If I was the principal I would tell the ladies’ to made food that the kids like. Well that is what I think about the lunch menu.

On Christmas vacations  we are going to do tamales.Karina,my sister,says to do them on the 23rd.But there is a problem that Gilbert,my brother,is going to work on Christmas day.We are sad but we wish he can get out at 6:00 p.m.Me and my sister,Karina, want to help my mom and dad to make the tamales. I can’t wait one more  day because I want to be Christmas now.I wish to everyone who read this post MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!Well that is what me and my family are going to do on Christmas vacations.

My little cousin name is Eddie. He is 1 year long.When we went to L.A. this summer it was his party.It was so cool because instead of a jumping balloon there was a water slide.It was funny because the kids were doing allot of things in the water slide.The dad of Eddie was trying to put him in the water slide,but Eddie did not want to.When it  was time to sing happy birthday my aunt got some candy from the cake and put it  on his face.He start crying but he did not let anyone  clean his face.I think this was the most wonderful party I ever had.

Well it’s so easy that because you can see if it’s plural, singular, or contraction. Yesterday Mrs.Maldonado told me how to see if it was plural, singular, or contraction’s.I am going to give you a example of all the three nouns.1st “It’s so easy to make a bracelet with little squares on the string.”That is a contraction noun because I put to words together and the word is” it is” I put them together and now is”it’s”.It means the same.2nd “The nurse’s office it is not to big how I think it was”.That is a singular because in”nurse’s” it means  that it is just one nurse.3th”All the teachers’ of 6th grade are going to a meeting with the principal at 3:55 in the class of Ms.Ward”.That is meaning that there is more than one teacher going to the meeting.Well see you at school Ms.Ward and I understand very good all you teach us this week.

Well the 6th graders had have problems in the classes we have. They act like monkeys walking everywhere and not hearing the instructions. I feel sad because we have to represent our teacher and we supposed to represent our school and give an example to the little kids. The teachers teach us like big kids and they do there work but the kids want to catch everybody’s attention. I feel like the teachers just want to do they work but the kids don’t let them and they feel mad and sad of not doing they work how it supposed to be. I feel like one of this days they are just gonna write up the kids who are comporting bad and just continue the lesson. We are wild animals doing bad things. We need to act like 6th graders  and comport like 6th graders.

Well one of them it can be when you have a problem they can help you  or talk to you then do something so you can forget about that problem that you have. Sometimes they are like part of your family because they give you LOVE and other things you need. Well the friends that I have are so cool because like I told you in the 1st part of my story they help you in every problem that you have.  My friends are Nubia, Samara, Ruth, Karina, Vanessa , and Alejandra. I now that Karina is my sister but she is my friend to. Each one of then are different, but all of them care about me and I care about them and that is what makes me so HAPPY!! because they want that I am good and that nothing happen to my.

In the night, I was seeing who was winning. When I saw  that Obama won, I was dancing. I was so happy because he is going to change alot of things here in the United States. When we could vote in the school, I was so sure that I was going to vote for Obama. I wish that the votes we did here in the school could count for who would be the president. I wish that when Obama enters the White House he starts to make alot of changes in our country. Well, finally Obama is our president.

On November 3 is Election Day. The people have to vote for a new president for the United States. But first the ones who want to be president have to do some things so that the people can vote for them. Like put commercials on the television of what they will do for the U.S. and our economy. Now vote for somebody to help our economy.
