I was on the Panthers and it was Panthers vs Scorpions a football game. On the first play of the game our quarterback Evad ran the football and got a first down. The next play off the game Jewelian (Jewels for short) ran the ball, he got a first down but in order for him to get a first down I had to make a lead block (which is when I block the person trying to tackle him ). Later in the game JJ had an interception so then the score was 16-0 Panthers. Then we had a safety so then the score was 18-0 but then the game ended and the panthers won.

Go , Go , Go the crowd would yell as our running back Jewelian (jewels for short) was about to catch our winning touchdown in the last game of the season wait a second let me explain I play for the Panthers and we were playing the wolfpack at our last game of the football season well lets cut the chit-chat and get back to the action. As I was saying it was the last game of the football season with 10 seconds left “Hut hut” our quarterback said at that moment all helmets went CCCCSSSSHHHH as they crashed against each other “Uh-oh a guy got loose number 73 he’s heading straight toward our quarter back throw the ball throw the ball” I whispered to myself hoping he would listen. Our quarterback barely threw it over his head and it came down into the hands of jewels the panthers won.

Uh-oh uh-oh uh-oh its TAKS day, What if I get the questions wrong? What if I forget to bubble? I said to myself one scorching hot school day. As you can see its the day of the TAKS test the most important test of my little elementary school life. The second I read the first question , I panicked. It read :What would Kelly and her brother do next? A. go get ice cream B. go see the wolves C. go home D. go to bed . I thought for a while HHHMMM why would they go get ice cream after they just had lunch and are stuffed , they could go see the wolves they were next anyway , they wouldn’t leave they were only there for 30 minutes , and they wouldn’t just drop dead snoring in a zoo. So the only logical answer was B so I chose it. I started thinking like that through the whole test and before you know it the test was over. So the day for the grades to come in my teacher told me I got a 100% I was absolutely astounded because it was my first TAKS test ever andI passed , boy what a day.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW thats all I could think of when the weatherman said we have a chance of snow.  That’s all I needed to hear to jump out of bed throw on something and move it to go outside and play in the snow. To do things such as: snowball fights, snowmen, sleighing, and best of all, warm, chocolate, cocoa with mini marshmallows so time to go to work. I dived into making snowballs sleighing and snowmen and best of all  warm chocolate cocoa.  That was my day.

One beautiful day my family and I drove to Dallas. One light we stopped and then we drove the car went vroom vroom. Before I knew it we were in Dallas . When we got off we went to my aunt’s house. She greeted us at the door and my cousin Aaron was picking at my uncle’s head as if he were a monkey. I giggled to myself. He was the only fish in the sea. He rolled off and hit the carpet, BAM. It looked like the carpet swallowed him. I couldn’t bare it any longer. I gaffawed or laughed so loud. When that was over I said to my aunt ”I’m starving.” So then me and my family had dinner then we went to bed . I had to sleep next to my cousin Aaron. O.K. i thought until he actually fell asleep. His snoring was like thunder. So we went fishing the next day. I caught a fish. It was so small I thought it was somebody else’s bait. My dad caught a killer white bass and my uncle well lets just say it was barely big enough to eat my fish. Well that’s Dallas for me.

Sniff Sniff I went as I smelled a mysterious smell. It smelled like a creamy, warm, rich, chocolate, cinnamon smell. At that moment I knew what it was . . . PIE!!!!

I darted for it as soon as it was within my reach. My mom stopped me because she went in front of me and said “Not until after dinner.” So I ”waited” just outside the kitchen to try and take the pie.

As soon as she left I dashed wildly at the pie. My finger dove at it as if the pie wanted to go into my stomach, like it was calling, ”Alex Alex come eat me!”

Click clack click clack the sound grew louder. ”Footsteps . . . MOM” I said to myself.

I darted out of the room, ambivalent. I wanted to but I didn’t want to. I wanted to stay so I could eat the pie, I didn’t want to stay because I would get busted if my mom found out I was eating the pie. I darted out of the room and my mom came in.

When my mom left I went into the kitchen and the pie was GONE!!!! I was in so much shock. So I went looking for the astonishing pie and when I was about to give up, I heard “DINNER!” It was my mom. All throughout dinner I was thinking about that warm, creamy, pie.

When we were done with dinner I saw it the warm creamy cinnamon pie sitting on the table for dessert , I felt like everything worked out and now I could eat that warm, creamy, cinnamon pie.

Thank you Mrs. Hulburt you are the most incredible teacher!!!! Thank you for helping me through the TAKS. Thank you for throwing all those parties (it was FUN). Thank you for trusting me with reading if not I would have not gotten this far with honors certification level. Thank you for not giving up with me in writing cause I always had writers block. Thank you for being my teacher.

The bear ride was the BIGGEST ride I’d ever seen.”Do we have to go on” I asked my dad.YES the big bad words circled my mind around and around they went. So we went on other rides as we waited for the ride. And as we went on other rides my stomach grew into a tighter and tighter knot. Finally we went on the ride. The ride went to the top and down we went going 100 miles an hour. The first time AAAAA-HHHH I screamed at the top of my lungs. The second time it was even scarier cause we went backwards and the ride was over. When we came off I couldn’t get my legs to stop shaking.

Panthers vs Renegades I was on the panthers. It was both teams first game of the season. The ref tossed the coin in the air the other team called heads. “heads it is” the ref said. BOOM that was the opening kickoff. We got hit we got smashed and we lost.
