The “Big” Jump (first published piece)

Shll-BANG! “Wow! That is some slippery ice!” I said shocked. I remember the thick white fog that rolled across the ice skating stadium floor. Well, about fifteen minutes of pure torture, I stopped my skates, closed my eyes, poked myself very hard to just get out there and skate. So I did, it just took me forever.

So after I got a hold of it, I went to the middle of the rink, which led to a crack, which led to a ramp so tiny you could hardly see it. The next thing you know, I was about a foot in the air, eyes wide, heart thumping, face pale, and legs about another foot apart. When I landed, I felt as stiff as a rock. I could feel the cool breeze move around me and I heard well, the majority of the skates stop. Also when I landed, I felt like a little puppy shaking because it was going to the vet to get it’s shots. When I jumped up, it felt like it was playing in slow motion.

When I got home, I told my easily amused grandma and my very UN easily amused cousin. And they were shocked! Kind of…

    Johanna I like your writing you put a lot of Authors tools it is a wonderful writing and I went roller skiting and that was hard for me so bye. :)
