One cool, frigid morning in Alaska (where I live) I was sitting by the fireplace drinking a cup of hot chocolate. As I sat there, I craved something, but that something I couldn’ t figure out. Ahh yes, action I crave action. For what reason I can’ t tell you but I craved action. So I think and think: Running with the wolves naaa, swimming with polar bears naaa, sliding down slopes with penguins naaa. I think for what seems like 100,000 hours but in the 100,001st hour I came up with the most insanely weird thing ever. I was going to climb Mount Everest. Dan Dan Dan WAIT!!!!! I’m not only going to climb it but I’m going to build a house and live on the highest point of it.
So I packed and packed and packed until all of my 2.000 pound stuff was in my ginormous snow sled. ” Good morning Alaskaaaaaaaaaaaaaa” I yelped as I stepped into the bitter cold. I was so caught up in all the commotion I went out in my pajamas and I literally froze like an icicle handing from the top of a cave in one degree weather. After that was over I set of on my miraculous journey with of course my 13 strong, trusty, tough chihuahuas.
First I had to cross a frozen pond and go over frost covered hills. On the way I came across the gigantically enormous statue of Rudolf the Red- Nosed Reindeer that was 100,000,000,000feet tall. I also passed by the Frost the snowman monument which was a bigger and better remake of him. All of a sudden my dogs started to bark” ruff ruff ruff.” I looked up to see a towering mountain.
“This can’t be it ,this can’t be Mount Everest its to high” I yelled. ” Well I traveled all this way I’ve got to do this.” So I took my first step then my second. “Hey this isn’t so hard”. Two miles later. ” How much longer” I groaned.
In my exhaustion I thought I heard a familiar noise…trotting. I thought I heard trotting then I heard someone say this ” Are you talking to me”? said a mysterious voice. “Who said that”? I whispered in a shaky voice. “Me down here.” There was the noise again but this time I looked down to see one of my chihuahuas.”oh hi buddy what are you doing here” “I’m coming to follow you because I saw you were having a hard time and we wanted to help you” he said “how is “we” “ohhh yeah I brought the whole pack with me.” “Thanks ‘bud’ just what I needed, why don’t you come along we can climb and talk” “okay but less talky more climby” said buddy “yes sur” By 12 o’clock in the afternoon they were so, so, so tired but they were determined to get to the top. At 2 o’clock they weren’t even half way there yet but they wer ewariors in the cold freezing wind. As I felt we were getting closer to the middle of the mountain I started to dance and sing “Do the happy dance, do the happy dance, do the happy dance ” “please don’t do that” said buddy. But I kept on going.” I don’t know this person” he said again. We were finally at…half of the mountain. ” Dude we still have half a mountain to climb” “well then lets get a move on” I replied. Soon enough we were steps away from history we pictured us in news papers, tvs screens and every other thing you could think you could think of. 2 steps away… 1 step away. “yes we made it” That day I felt like a hero, I made history. That was the most funest time on a winter day I ever had.
