DEAR RONNIE,
On March 5, 2008, 4th grade had to take the hardest test ever, the TAKS test. But it was NOT a math or some kind of reading test, no, it has to be writing.
“Jane, get up. TAKS day, hut 234 hut 234,” yelled mom. “Mom, leave me alone. I think I’m sick.
So she ran in her room and got the thermometer and played a trick on me. “Well, you’re right. I guess you’re going to have to stay home, eat squash, and miss D.E.A.R day,” she teased me. “Gross, I’m up, I’m up. Sicko,”I yelled.
Eight hours later, I finally finish. I’m so scared. The rest of the day was sad and cloudy. My class still hasn’t gotten the scores yet. Love ya.
LOVE,
JANE
