I finished it, Yes! Wait, I can’t tell you the whole story, but I will tell you about my experience on how I found the book. It all started on August 10th, I had just finished coming in from P.E. I finished The Secret Book Club, the book I was reading before. Then I hear, “Read me Ruby!” I turned around and there it was. THE book, but no it wasn’t just a book it was a 59 chapter thriller! The book was NOT your typical flat like a pancake book it was the size of a novel. The reason I knew this was THE book because ordinary books don’t call your name! The name of the book is Inkheart . Was I in a dream or was this better, I asked myself?  This MUST be better! I ran to the book like a child at a toy store. My eyes growled to read the book in my hands! GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!! they went. I searched the book in other wards scanning the book, I took it to my desk. The book welcomed me with a beautiful beginning chapter.

I took me five weeks to finish the book. Did you not think I could finish the book? Well you thought wrong! I finished it, Yes. I hope you get the wonderful experience as I did when hopefully you can read it too! :} End of part one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:}  1 down 2 more to go! P.S. I already started the 2nd book(Inkspell)!!!!!!!!!!!!:}

It was a ordinary day when I noticed at my local library Congressman Silvestre Reyes was going to be visiting! I was elated because I needed to interview someone important because I wanted to be a TFK (Time For Kids) reporter but that’s a story for another day. The next day, me and my mom woke-up really early so that we could get front row seats in the library meeting room. I wished that time could go faster until Silvestre Reyes walked in! I couldn’t believe that Silvestre Reyes was standing right in front of me! He walked in with a black suit and with his secretary. The reporters had the permission to ask him questions first. Once the reporters asked him all their questions it was the rest of the El Paso citizens were allowed to ask him questions or inform him of their concerns. My hand shot up and he called on me in a very special way because he beckoned me over to the front and asked me to introduce myself. I said my name and told them why I was there and then he asked me to ask him anything I wanted to as long as wasn’t to personal but he said he trusted I wouldn’t go to far. I stuck with the question I was going to ask in the first place which was did he think that now since Osoma Bin Loden was killed would his kids try to terrorize the U.S.A. He told me he highly thought that they wouldn’t terrorize the U.S.A again. The meeting was winding down when I told my mom that I wished that the meeting could go on a little longer. When the meeting was over I got the chance to interview him. I thought to myself this is it! We found a little cafe in the corner and a table to interview him. I asked him around ten questions and I was lucky that he was able to answer all my questions. I felt so special because the Congressman was giving me his undivided attention! Picture that a little 3rd grader interviewing a  Congressman and not just a Congressman it was Congressman Silvestre Reyes! I remember that one of my questions was how would you like to be remembered? He said that he would like to be remembered as a loving and caring grandfather to all of his grandchildren! He also said that I am his honorary granddaughter! Another question I asked him was what don’t you like about being a Congressman? He said what he didn’t like about being a Congressman was that you can’t please everyone and that he wished he could. In the end, he was a VERY honest and cheerful man. I am SOOO lucky that I  had the opportunity to interview and meet a Congressmam but not just a Congressman it was Congressman Silvestre Reyes!!!!!!

It was a sizzling summer evening. My mom, dad and I were in Las Vegas. It was the fourth of July. We had planned to go to Ceasar’s Palace that night. I was so elated because I heard that it was the casino of gods and of course sins cause I mean were in Vegas what do you expect? When we got there, I thought to myself “WOW”!!!! but you know what, what was about to unravel was so not wow. You know how fireworks are usually high in the sky, we went to the top of a parking lot right next to Ceasars Palace, so that we could get a good glimpse of the fireworks!! So we thought…

We got in our car and packed everything we would need, you know the basics. I saw such colorful signs that for a spilt second I thought that they were brighter than the sun. The glare of the lights we had just past kept glaring in my eyes, like a ghost coming back to haunt me. Our car climed to the top of the parking lot. We unpacked everything. My family and I were surprised to see how many cars were up there as well. We waited  and waited for what seemed like an eternity for the fireworks to begin. “Woo-Hoo” a crowed roared but it wasn’t the crowd that we were with. It was the crowed below us. Turns out that the fireworks were low in the sky and we couldn’t  see them. You know we weren’t upset or mad. Try filled with rage and confusion. My mother and father were debating on whether or not we should go in the car or just walk to the nearest entrance to Caesars Palace. We rushed to the main entrance to the casino and went down the elevator to where the fireworks were better viewed. Since then till this day I can only imagine how the rest of the show looked like. I’m not complaining though because during this rather long adventure, I had a great time with my family and thats all I could ask for! (But that doesn’t mean I’m not still upset that I couldn’t see the fireworks.)
