Hammy the squirrel

I know some of you guys are anxious to find out what Eastwood Middle is like before you go there. Well I will tell you how it is.
1st of all Eastwood middle is HUGE, so that means there is a lot of stairs.
2nd there are security guards who like to pay a visit with all the kids at least once every 2 weeks.
3rd There are A LOT of rules (including, no stud belt, no phones on as soon as you get to class
4th They have changed up a schedule so it is a block schedule, you’ll find out what that means later on.
5th Be Prepared for the BIG lunch line
6th The first day will be tiring for ALL of you
7th The teachers are really cool, so don’t worry! You WILL SURVIVE being a “Sevie”

Well, for all those kids out there that want to know how it is to become a 6th grader; I have some helpful tips and info.
1st of all don’t be nervous it will be OK! 2nd it is very Awesome so be excited. The field trips are Amazing, fun is found everywhere!
3rd you get the Best electives (orchestra,fine arts,media and band). 4th the holocaust is a major subject.  5th

6th the game days can’t be beat . 7th the ultimate experience is found in the…OLYMPICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday,  September 16 student council had their first meeting with the new members. I really don’t know the new people from 4th grade besides Jewel, Stone, David and Arianna. From 5th grade I don’t remember any names. From my 6th grade the new members are…Ginger, Isaiah, Adriana, Celeste,Abby/Baylee, and Mia.
” Okay Student Council, everyone take out your agenda! You will need your agenda every meeting!” Mrs. Gamboa annonced to the class.
So everyone wrote down their assigned meetings and we all went over the rules and if you missed meetings(unexcused).
Then it came to the awesome part, all the information for representatives(president, treasurer, secretary and vice president).
” Okay if you want to run for something, after student council, get an index card and a poster from Mrs. Vega. This year we will allow you to make a video for Mrs. Gamboa’s website or the student council website. This year we will have the entire school vote for our representatives. ” I  love student council! It’s so awesome!
                      “MEETING  AGURNED!” Said Mrs. Gamboa.

Mrs. Vega was the best teacher I’ve ever had. I’ll always remember her,  she was funny, awesome, unique and outstanding. Even if I am in 6th grade I will always visit Mrs. Vega. Even if she forgets me I will never forget her. I am Hammy and I would like to thank Mrs. Vega for being my friend this year. Mrs. Vega is a teacher who treats everyone differently. Mrs. Vega will always have fun with science, so I hope she keeps teaching. I will miss you Mrs. Vega and my 5th grade year at Edgemere. I hope you will keep educating.

If you have never seen Hammy from “Over the Hedge”.  Let me just say a few things about him.
He is …Awesome, Funny, Fuzzy, Hiper, Unique, Redish and Creative.
Those are reasons why I picked him as my name. (It’s weird because Mrs. Vega called me a Ham at parent/teacher conference.)

Wow, it’s already July and I haven’t gone anywhere. All I’ve done is sit, watch TV and stare at the calender hoping something will make things go faster. All i’m asking for is fun, coolness, happiness and friends.
I wish I could go everywhere that will keep me occupied!
