Kids Thoughts on Blogging
Posted by: shulburt in School Activities, tags: benefits, blogs, kidsNow that the year is coming to an end, I find myself looking at blogging and wondering whether or not it was a worthwhile venture. I suppose the best way to find out is to ask those who were impacted by it.
So, boys and girls…what are your thoughts on blogging? Please take a moment to post a comment back to me that answers these questions:
1. Have you enjoyed blogging this year? Why or why not?
2. Do you feel like blogging has made you a better writer? Why or why not?
3. What are the best and worst parts about blogging?
4. Do you want to continue your blog when you leave 4th grade?
5. Would you recommend blogging to future 4th graders?

1.I have enjoyed blogging this year because I think it is great to have people reading and writing because it’s like starting a conversation on line.:)

I do want to continue bloging when I move to 5th grade because I think its made me a better writer and I would recamend bloging to future 4 graders because I’ve enjoyed it and I think they will to the only problem with blogging is that I can’t think of things to write about some times .

2.I think it has because when I was first introduced to blogs I automaticly started writing a lot more than usual.

Yes I have enjoyed blogging this year because it is a good way to interact with each other.Not really cause pretty much we get are blogs from the pieces we write.The best parts to me is getting to comment to each other because it’s like a computer response group.The worst part to me is writing them because sometimes some kids don’t have a idea in there head right then.Yes I would like to continue blogging because maybe as we get older we write more things and have new ideas.I would recomend blogging for future fourth graders because well it would be something new for them and the way we got attached to blogs I think they would too.

3.I think the good part about it is that you feel great to know that you have people from all over the world reading your writing.The bad thing is that you have to make sure you have to check spelling and have your editing mark.

I like blogging because it’s fun getting comments that help you in writing because they tell you what your strengths and weaknesses are in your story. The part I like the most is receiving comments like this, but the part I don’t like is typing the whole story! I want to continue blogging next year and I recommend blogging in the future for 4th graders.

Yes and no. Yes because it is a grate way to share writing with not only your classmates, but with people around the world (if your blog is not privet and it has a map on it.):)No because if your like me (who can’t type fast) you can spend hours on one blog.:(

1. I have really enjoyed the blogs because it lets every one see how just great writers we are. 2. I think blogging has made a better writer because of all all the comments I get. 3. I don’t think anythings bad about the blogs, I like everything! 4 and 5. I would love to continue blogging and I recommend it to future bloggers.:)

I think I have enjoyed blogging this year because it has helped my become a better writer just by posting suggestions on other peoples blogs. The best part about blogging is how many people read your blog and respond to it, and the worst part about blogging is that you have to wait and wait for your comments to show up so you could respond to it. I really want to keep blogging for a long time because it keeps you and your friends in touch and if you have children you could tell them what to do when they get a blog. I would recommend blogging for future fourth graders because it would be new to them but I think they would have a fun time like we did with them. But I got three things to say for the future fourth graders, POST, READ, and COMMENT!!

Yes I would like to countinue blogging for next year and possibly 6th grade to. Well theres actually nothing bad about blogging its just fun.yes I have been enjoying blogging it is a good way to enteract with people in writing.Yes I thin writing with blogs made me a better writer and (typer). Actually yes I reccomend blogging to feature 4th graders it is a good way to have fun.

:)I have loved blogging it helps us interact with other people and become better writers by other people telling us what we need to improve and what we did good on. The best part about blogging is when people say something good about your piece it makes you feel good and I dont think there is a bad thing about blogging I would LOVE to continue blogging in 5th grade and I think the future 4th graders should blog so they could have as much fun as we are now.:)

1. I like it because it allows you to communicate with other writers and lets you see other peoples writing.
2. Yes, because people can give suggestions on how to make your writing better and it is basically like writing, but with keys.
3. I think that the worst thing about blogging is the typing because I am a really slow typer.

Yes I enjoyed blogging because when I fill bored I would get on the computer and start blogging.Yes I fill like blogging has made me a better writer.
