Moka
“Austin”! my Dad yelled.” Lets go”! he yelled. “Alright, lets go.” I said walking out of my room. We got in the car, and left the house. We were on our way to pick up a dog named Moka. We finally got there. We took Moka home.

Grandma, your the best,
you help me when I’m upset,
you have the key to my heart.
I don’t thank you very often,
but I am now.
Thank you.
You do a lot for me,
that’s why I’m thanking you.
My favorite parts of 4th grade was P.E., Computer lab, etc.I had fun in P.E. because I like being outside. I remember playing football, kickball, racketball, basket ball. I hate math. It’s hard for me. Reading was my favorite subject. Fourth grade was fun. It went by too fast.
My Dad and I were out turkey hunting in Big Lake, Texas. Then I saw a short groop of about 13 …WILD BOAR!!!! I was filming the whole thing,(my dad droped his bow)he shot one pig in the gut. So we left it over night. The next morning, we couldn’t find it!! Then my dad found it and shot it two more times! And this may be hard to believe, but it got up and ran!!!!! We found her…TWO HOURS LATER!! Then we “cleaned”it, and went home.
I was at home, first I thought someone was trying to get in the backyard. I quietly snuck into the backyard, then I saw Angel and Raven fighting! Raven had a deadly hold on Angel’s throght or juggler. Angel was clawing at Raven,Raven clawed Angel on the left front elbow. All I could do was yell & stare. I thought Angel was going to die, so I panicked.I was scared.I yelled and yelled, but I couldn’t do anything. After a while, my grandma walked out. She ran and grabed the hose, turned on the water. She aimed at the dogs, water sprayed everywhere. The dogs stoped fighting and hid from the water. That was a scary fight I thought to my self.
“Dad!” I screamed, scrambling into my mom and dad’s room.
“Cody can’t get up,” I said in a panic. (Cody was my mom’s dog)
My dad and I dashed to the door, opened it, and helped Cody up.
Two weeks later, I walked into my back yard. I was expecting three happy dogs that wanted to play, instead I got two. I saw Angel and Pepper, I took two steps and found him. He started gasping. He looked up right at me, like he was saying bye.
His eyes went from dark, friendly, brown to a pearl white.
(Cody had Cancer, so he died before his time)
Hut hut!! I was in a football game, score 0-0. First play of the secend half. The QB threw the ball, I caut it! I bolted down the field. The WR dove grabbed my heel I broke the tackle, and scored! We didn’t score, they didn’t score. We won 6-0!
Boom, Thud!
“Good girl Angel,” my Dad said after Angel brought back the bird. My Coach, my Dad, and I were out Dove hunting in the desert. “Angel,” I yelled. (That means get the bird.) The limit, or amount of Dove, is 15. My coach and I found an area where we could get under a barb-wire fence. We had Angel with us, so we had to be extra careful. We had 2 dogs with us: Angel and Raven. Raven was with my Dad, scaring up Dove for us. My Dad went under the fence and walked up to us. My Dad and Coach were talking. Then my Coach saw a Dove flying by and moved over, aimed…
Boom, Thud!
“Angel!” I said again. Suddenly, we all heard a weird noise. It was Angel, she had hit the barb-wire fence! She didn’t look too bad, until she put her leg down. Cherry red blood stained her goldenrod colored fur.
Raven tried to lick Angel’s wound. We all rushed to the Jeep to bandage Angel’s wound. We washed it out, and my Dad put his shirt on Angel’s wound. I took the overjoyed puppy, Raven, to find the lost bird, which wasn’t found. Raven tried to lick Angel’s wound, she got smacked on the jaw because that would infect it.
A couple of weekends ago, my Dad, my friend Justin, and I were out hunting. Justin and I were taking care of the dogs; he had Raven, I had Angel. And you don’t want to be around Raven if you miss the first bird of the day! She would have pulled Justin in to a canal if it wasn’t for a bush!
I’ve always wanted to blast a rabbit, but it’s dove hunting season, so I guess it’s dove blasting time! That means I have to get up at 5:00 in the morning!
