Rainy days

Today was a rainy day I wanted to go outside to feel the cool air but when we were eating lunch the people announced that it would be a rainy day schedule. I don’t like when we have to stay inside the classroom and do nothing but read, especialy when we were reading for four hours straight. Thank gosh they took us inside the gym I had so much energy I needed to let go in me. There is never anything that will be fun if the whole week it is going to rain, just stay inside and read. I hope we don’t have anymore rainy days although I love it when I go out at 6:30 in the morning and see the cool black and blue sky.

Dora Or Laura?

Today I came to school thinking that everyone was going to make me have a reputation by the way my hair looked. I got a hair cut from long and swaying to short and bulgy, I do not like the fact that now I am not able to run and have that wonderful feeling of my hair swaying; like the way an eagle soars down to catch its prey, now it feels sort of as if my hair was lost with no way to be free and get air anymore; the way that eagle would feel if its prey got away.  When I came to school it was time to line up, I went to the line and all of a sudden I hear a scream like the world was going to end at that moment, it was Viviana and Alexis V, yelling at the horrible seen of my short hair. They came up with a nickname for me, Laura Jr. (her hair does not look like mine to me.) and Dora the Explora. I came up with D.W. from Arthur. To me I still can’t believe my hair is this short, but it will hopefully grow back quickly.

They are so CUTE!!!!!!!

To me the cutest kind of puppies are the Golden Retriever. They are so cute when you see them that you get them mixed up with the rest of the other short haired puppies. I once had a friend that had these three puppies that I fell in love with.

“Those are so cute, where did you get them?”

“Oh their my mom’s friend’s puppies that came from a Golden Retriever.”

But I did not take one because those dogs have a lot of fur. But each day I went to go see them. They were getting bigger and bigger, until one day I went and they were gone!

“What happened to them?”

“I gave them away to the people in the dog training business.”

“Why did you do that? They were such good dogs!”

“I will have them back in two years.”

Well the two years passed and I forgot all about the dogs. One day my mom passed the pound and I saw a Golden Retriever, and it clicked to me. The dogs – they should be there by now!! I went to my friend’s house and saw no dogs.
” Oh hi, are you looking for the dogs?”
He said it in such a suspicious voice as if I was supposed to be getting ready for a surprise.

“Yes, where are they?”

He whistled for the dogs I guess, and stood there like a tiger leader awaiting for his applaud of his great job. At that moment I saw one great big Retriever.

“Sit girl, do you remember this girl?”

He asked the dog the question as if she were able to talk. Then I saw two more come, and all day long he showed me a bunch of tricks that they were taught.

March

The month of March is my favorite month because it is the month of my birthday. I am not that exited that I am getting to turn the age of  12 I think that last year went to slow that I sort of started thinking that when you turn one year more  you are getting closer to being old. Then you are thinking when you are turning 90 years old and you see your grand kids doing cartwheels and doing the splits, but then you say I USED to be able to do that about 80 years ago, and that makes you feel more old when your kids tell someone else that you are old. And remember that you used to be the one saying that, when you were putting your mom and dad in a retirement home. I just do not want this year to be as slow, and not to fast so I can enjoy the years.

Friday the 13th

Many people say that on Friday the 13th, a lot of people have bad luck. I never heard about that till I saw that there was a movie coming out about it. Then all of a sudden there was the wonderful luck.  I was supposed to stay on my feet and walk all the way to class without tripping in the cluttered hallway, but I did not trip but hit my head on the locker. Then it was the end of the school day we were at P.E. for a very strange reason I was really tired at first, my legs were not going as far as they could. Then I safely got home nothing unusual happened except when I was taking a shower there was not any hot water. (I got through that day alive!!!!) Anyway about the movie, I wonder how scary it is and will it always be a big hit? Will it be made into a book? If it is and I have not seen the movie yet, then I will read it. This March we will have another Friday the 13th I hope nothing will go wrong that day.

Valentine’s Day!!!!!!!!!!!

On Saturday 14 there is an important day for some people that is Valentine’s Day.  In our school, we share valentines by sending out candy grams or hand out valentines cards to our friends. There is this thing that people say about that day they say that there is this little baby named   “CUPID” and that he goes around shooting arrows at people to fall in love. I really don’t even know how Valentine’s Day got started, what is the real true meaning of it, when did it start, who started it? There are many questions that I don’t know about this day.  Maybe I will learn more later in my life.

Was it snowing?

Today while we were in Ms. Reed’s class, Michael came in and said that it was snowing! We all wanted to see, but we couldn’t so we waited to go to the lunch room were we would be able to see perfectly because of the big windows. When I asked Mrs. Maldonado if it was snowing, she said no that it was probably just a blizzard that it would be back to 80 degrees by tomorrow. Of course, it was too good to be true, but hopefully it will really snow and won’t stop as long as we still get to go to school.

ROSALIE HALE

My favorite character in the Twilight movie and in the book is Rosile Hale, she has such a confident to be myself forever attitude.  I wondered why she was not so nice to Bella, but then I found out she was supposed to be meant to Edward although he chose Bella over her.  I thought that in the movie my favorite scene was the baseball scene. I love the way that they all stand in their tough bodies to protect Bella from the bad guy. My last favorite part was when Bella met all the Cullens. Fall in love with the series as my friend Zoe. (I don’t think I will ever be able to reach that level.)   

I LOVE TWILIGHT AND I ALWAYS WILL!!!!!!!

Candy Girl.

I love candy so much. That is one thing that I will never get too old for. There are so many types of candies that I love. Here are some that I will never stop eating: Jolly ranchers, GUM, lollipops, gummy worms gummy bears, and many other types that I do not really know the name of. I get so hyper when I eat to much of those candies, I start falling off the chair then laughing to much, sometimes I am afraid that I will have a seizure I hope that that never happens. Or I will never be able to eat candy in my life again.
