Friday was my birthday. I turned 8. To celebrate my family had pizza and ice cream. My grandparents came over and spent time with me. I got lots of presents. I got a skateboard, a baseball, army toys, and a toy where you get to build circuits. Yesterday I was playing around with it and I created lots of things. I built a flying saucer and a siren. I wish it hadn’t ended! Today my sister, my mom and dad, and I are going to Cattleman’s to celebrate my birthday. I can’t wait until my birthday party next weekend-it’s going to be at Peter Piper Pizza.
The fresh air, the mountain breeze, and the best pizza place! They all add up to Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is where my family goes every summer. The great waterfall, Yosemite Falls, stands high as we look at it. It’s very wet when you stand in front of it. Yosemite is the greatest greatest place ever! My family is debating over going this year because we’re going to Yellowstone plus Mammoth Lakes, California. And that takes most of our vacation time. Why can’t we choose…why is it so hard?
It’s snowing! It’s snowing! Wake up wake up! I hollered to my parents. My mom slowly got up and then she saw it. The white glittery shiny snow. I wish it had snowed on Thanksgiving. Hey, it’s a late Thanksgiving present! We played outside for hours and hours. It was fun. It snowed for 2 days. That’s the longest time I’ve ever heard of.
This weekend I did a karate tournament. It was fun at part and boring another part. I did 3 things. number one was weapons. number two was traditional number three was sparring.
